This is the second remodel Goergen Remodeling has completed for us. They were so amazing that I remembered them 25+ years later! Bill completed our current job of two bathroom remodels in less than a month. The man does not stop! He works straight through the day and does everything by himself. He listened to everything we needed and did a great job.Bill always arrived on time and really listened to what we needed. We have a 100 year old home. He made custom molding. Repaired a cracked wall. Repaired a floor. Installed a door. He can really do anything. Everything was done quickly and with perfection. Very personable and very reliable. I had a great experience with Bill and the people that worked with him on a gut rehab of my kitchen in a vintage Lindoln Park building. My job was complicated from the start – Bill came in after I had to fire my previous designer/contractor. He took over a project that had been characterized by delay and error-and was a savior! Bill took the time to go through all the existing plans and materials, point out prolems left by the prior team and think out solutions that were not only true to the vision I had for my kitchen, but were economical. One of the best compliments I can give is that Bill was punctual. I always knew what he had on the agenda for the day and he always delivered on his commitments in a timely manner. Add to that his attention to simple quality of life items such as always leaving a clean work space (I lived at home during my renovation) and making sure to introduce me to each of the sub contractors he brought in. I thought Bill’s pricing and charges were fair, he billed weekly for me and he clearly supported items with backup. One more story that gives a sense of his commitment – ABT messed up a delivery and in order to get them to send the correct appliance downtown on a same day basis, Bill put it on his own personal credit card. I had a dishwasher in time for Christmas – thanks to Bill. I would use him again in a minute.
